Open-source licenses

Last updated: 27 August 2026

ReactionCut exists thanks to open-source projects:

  • React (MIT): user interface.
  • Vite (MIT): build tool.
  • lucide-react (ISC): icons.
  • mp4-muxer (MIT): writing MP4 files.
  • mp4box.js / GPAC (BSD-3): reading MP4 structures.
  • ffmpeg.wasm (MIT wrapper; FFmpeg core under LGPL/GPL, and the build includes x264, which is GPL): conversion of input formats the browser cannot open. The core is served as a separate, unmodified WebAssembly binary and is not linked into our code. Corresponding source: github.com/ffmpegwasm/ffmpeg.wasm and ffmpeg.org. On request we will provide the exact source of the build we ship.

Thank you to the authors. ♥
